Council approves $2.3M in bills, establishes AI governance policy

NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra Borough Council approves $2.3 million in bills, adopts artificial intelligence governance policy. With all members present except John Liebe, the council unanimously approved a block of resolutions including appointment of Kenneth R. Keisler as part-time Fire Inspector at $22.50 per hour and Jacob Gilmore to the Fire Department, plus appointments of Doretha R Jackson and John Gural to Burlington County Joint Insurance Fund positions.
The council also authorized a $115,500 appropriation transfer to the 2025 Municipal Budget, with a new health insurance program through JIF beginning April 1, 2026.
