Council appoints patrol officer, promotes two sergeants

NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra Council approves three police personnel changes in unanimous votes. Sergeant Timothy Leusner was promoted to Lieutenant of Police, Patrolman Matthew Maresca to Sergeant of Police, and Andrew Conover was hired as Patrol Officer at $45,950.84 annually effective August 3, 2026. The council also unanimously approved July 2026 bills totaling $2,950,835.26, appointed Linda Yasnick as Alternate Registrar with a $1,200 annual stipend, and amended the Borough Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual to implement New Jersey Family Leave Act changes.
