Palmyra Council approves five resolutions in special meeting

NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra Borough Council unanimously approves five resolutions including personnel appointments and state grant. The board appointed Christiana Quinton as part-time Community Center Scheduling Assistant at $15.92 per hour; Bernadette Davis-Green as Deputy Registrar with a $1,200 annual stipend, effective July 1, 2026; and promoted Thomas Ewing to Deputy Public Works Foreman with a $2.50 hourly increase, also effective July 1, 2026. The council also appointed Tracy Kilmer as Fire Official and accepted an Alcohol Education Rehabilitation Grant in the amount of $694.18.
Mayor Gina Ragomo Tait noted that the Summer Meal Distribution program launched with 58 boxes delivered to children ages 18 and under.
