Council appoints Foster to fill vacant council seat

NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra Council appoints Anthony Foster to fill council vacancy, with term expiring December 31, 2026. The council unanimously voted 5-0 on February 2 to approve Foster's appointment, which fills a seat vacant since December 23, 2025. The council also approved three ordinances on first reading, including one authorizing budget-appropriation flexibility, another amending police-officer employment rules to permit the no-cost Jobs4Blue program, and a third allowing reallocation of unused bond funds for real property.
In a single consent vote, the council enacted eleven additional resolutions, including a $22,274 fire equipment purchase and authorization of $2,031,910.21 in January bills.
