Council adopts $12.3M budget, authorizes two redevelopment studies

NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra Borough Council approves $12.3M budget with 2.41 percent tax increase. The council unanimously adopted the fiscal year 2026 municipal budget of $12,349,318.82, raising the average homeowner tax bill by $52.37 annually to a rate of 1.49483 per $100 of assessed valuation. The council approved Ordinance 2026-04 adopting a redevelopment plan for Block 78.01 and directed the Land Use Board to prepare redevelopment plans for Block 76 and Block 107.
A Philadelphia developer has expressed interest in the Kerbeck parcel in the Route 73 South redevelopment area.
