Palmyra approves $1.1 million in bonds for capital and sewer work

NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra approves $1.1 million in capital and sewer bonds on first reading. The Borough Council unanimously authorized $935,512 in bonds for $984,750 in capital improvements and $142,500 in bonds for $150,000 in sewer utility work, advancing infrastructure spending ahead of a public hearing June 15. In other action, Council settled litigation brought by Legacy Labor Properties, LLC in a 4-0 vote, authorizing Mayor Gina Ragomo Tait and Municipal Clerk Doretha R Jackson, RMC, to execute the settlement agreement.
The meeting also approved May 2026 bills totaling $2,169,599.51 and a $19,539.33 Clean Communities Grant.
