NJ PALMYRA — Palmyra appoints two police officers and authorizes vehicle purchases. The Borough Council on April 20 appointed Matthew Parrish as full-time Patrolman at 50,874.15 dollars annually plus a 4,500-dollar sign-on bonus and Andrew Conover as part-time SLEO I officer at 15.92 dollars per hour. The council authorized vehicle contracts totaling 64,646 dollars, including 46,862 dollars for a 2026 Ford Interceptor and upfits from AutoFix, Acerbo's, and MAACO.
The council approved payment of April 2026 bills totaling 2,499,225.09 dollars and cancelled the June 1 meeting.
